Overview:  This introduction to cycling the KVR and self-guided travel is for women only – a great way to begin to explore your ability to roam free with the support of other like minded, adventurous women.  Self-guided means you go at your own pace, but this tour ensures that you will be traveling each day amongst others headed for the same destination.  Each day begins with a group start, but you are then welcome to travel with others or on your own – at your own pace!  We will make sure you are well equipped and prepared for each day’s adventure.

Extras for this trip include an easier introductory day of cycling as you lope your way downhill, full luggage transfers each day, very comfortable accommodation and two – 2 night stays.  The tour takes you from wilderness to vineyards – from cottages to exclusive lodges.

  • a stay at the spectacular Myra Canyon Ranch B&B
  • 2 nights in Naramata with Resort private beach, kayaks, swimming pool and hot tub

Trip Rating – Easy/Moderate:  The KVR Trail is mostly a wilderness trail and offers up variable conditions – this tour begins at the “summit” of the trail and offers mostly downhill rides with some longer distances and variable terrain – a bit of everything!
