Fares & Prices

All fares and prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to availability. Prices include all fees/taxes except the 5% Canadian Goods & Services Tax (GST).

• Itinerary Changes: Changes to your final itinerary may incur additional costs.
• Gratuities: Tips are not included, and tipping is at your discretion. For any prepaid restaurant meals (three in total), tips are already covered. If you wish to provide additional tips for our caterers or other service providers, please let us know, and we can assist with arrangements.

Deposits & Payment

• Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to secure your tour dates. Tour is confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
• Final Payment: Full payment is due 30 days before your tour departure.

Cancellation Policy

• 30 Days or More: Cancellations made 30 days or more before tour start incur a $230 per person administration fee.
• 7 to 29 Days: Cancellations made between 7 and 29 days before tour start are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
• Less Than 7 Days: No refunds are available for cancellations made within 7 days of tour start.

Cancellation Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations or interruptions to your tour. Check with your insurance provider or major credit card issuer to confirm your coverage.

Illness & Accidents

If you need to cancel any portion of your tour due to illness, injury, or personal emergency, you will need to rely on your private insurance policy for coverage of any losses. See our Cancellation terms above for details.

Departure & Shuttle Information

Our primary departure point is the Days Inn in Penticton. If you are driving, we recommend booking an overnight stay there for the night before your tour departure, as Days Inn provides free parking for hotel guests for the duration of the tour.

• Alternative Pickup: We can arrange shuttle pickups from other accommodations in the area, subject to an additional charge.
• Final Itinerary: Your confirmed departure location will be provided in your final tour itinerary and booking confirmation.

Itinerary Confirmation

Please review your itinerary dates carefully and contact us immediately if any corrections are needed. A more detailed itinerary with daily instructions will be sent to you 30 days before the start of the tour.

Weather, Events, and Nature of the Tours

Our tours are self-guided, meaning guides do not accompany you on the trail. The KVR trail crosses remote and forested areas and the Okanagan Valley, where conditions can vary. Weather events such as standing water, rain, thunderstorms, intense heat, and wildfires (including smoke) are natural to this region. We will keep you informed of current weather and trail conditions throughout the tour, and we ask that you come well-prepared for these conditions.
